Introduction
Sutent 12.5mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Sunitinib, which belongs to the class of tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking enzymes called tyrosine kinases that are involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. This medication is used to treat gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), advanced kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma), pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET), medullary thyroid cancer, and certain other kidney cancers.
Before taking Sutent 12.5mg Capsule, inform your doctor if you have blood disorders, heart problems, liver or kidney issues, skin disorders, diabetes, seizures, thyroid problems, or if you are about to undergo surgery. Avoid grapefruit in any form during treatment. Consult your dentist if you have mouth sores, pain, or swelling before starting therapy.
