Mucobenz Mouthwash is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that contains 0.15% w/v Benzydamine hydrochloride. It treats pain and inflammation, including swelling, redness, and a feeling of heat in the mouth or throat. It works by inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins, which increase blood flow to the injured area and cause discomfort and swelling.
Talk to your physician if you have a history of asthma or allergies. Don’t use Mucobenz Mouthwash if you are allergic to Benzydamine or any other ingredients of this medicine. Don’t splash the mouthwash in your eyes while using it. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs.
