Introduction

Mucobenz Mouthwash is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that contains 0.15% w/v Benzydamine hydrochloride. It treats pain and inflammation, including swelling, redness, and a feeling of heat in the mouth or throat. It works by inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins, which increase blood flow to the injured area and cause discomfort and swelling.

Talk to your physician if you have a history of asthma or allergies. Don’t use Mucobenz Mouthwash if you are allergic to Benzydamine or any other ingredients of this medicine. Don’t splash the mouthwash in your eyes while using it. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs. Using the mouthwash continuously for more than a week is not recommended unless your doctor advises.

Mucobenz Mouthwash is not recommended for children under the age of 12. Before using this mouthwash, notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor to determine whether this mouthwash is safe to use in such conditions. Report to your physician immediately if you experience any symptoms, such as an allergic reaction or tightening of the throat or chest after using the mouthwash.
