Introduction

Brespal 125 mg is a targeted therapy that contains Palbociclib. It belongs to a class of medicines called Cyclin-Dependent Kinase (CDK) inhibitors. It is used mainly in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer. It is usually prescribed along with other anticancer medications.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to this medicine or have liver, kidney, or lung problems before starting treatment. Effective birth control must be used during treatment and for at least three weeks after the last dose. Report any symptoms like fever, chills, sore throat, dry cough, chest pain, or breathing difficulty immediately, as these could signal serious side effects.

Your doctor will monitor your blood cell counts regularly during treatment. The dosage depends on your medical condition and response to the therapy. Do not stop or change your dose without consulting your doctor. Your physician may suggest a suitable alternative if required.
