Introduction

Torinat 10mg Tablet is an antineoplastic drug containing the active ingredient Everolimus. It belongs to the class of mTOR kinase inhibitors and is used to treat advanced breast cancer, advanced renal cell carcinoma, advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, and subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (tumours found in the ventricles of the brain). This medication is often combined with cyclophosphamide for treating subependymal giant cell astrocytoma. Good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups are important during treatment as Torinat 10mg Tablet may cause mouth sores or ulcers.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of infections, Hepatitis B, liver disorders, kidney problems, heart failure, high cholesterol, or hypertension. This treatment increases the risk of bacterial or viral infections. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience fever, chills, cough, yellowing of the skin, joint pain, swelling, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Limit exposure to sunlight and UV light by wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking this medication.
